A DOGGED EXISTENCE

It was some powder-wigged ponce in the late 18th century who came up with the word ‘dogged’ to mean persistent, tenacious and steadfast. Whoever he was, he surely had one eye on us, a breed of canine characters who can show gritty resolve when it comes to protecting our territories and owners.
