TENSION

28 sts and 36 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 3.25mm needles.

WORKING PATTERN BACK

Beg Crotch

Using 3.00mm needles and M, cast on 13 (13, 17, 17, 17, 17) sts loosely.

Row 1: K2, * P1, K1, rep from * to last st, K1.

Row 2: K1, * P1, K1, rep from * to end.

Last 2 rows form rib. Work a further 4 rows rib. Change to 3.25mm needles. Work in stocking st stripes of 4 rows M and 4 rows C throughout, AT SAME TIME cast on 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7) sts at beg of 3rd row, then at beg of foll 9 rows. 53 (63, 67, 77, 77, 87) sts. Cont in stocking st stripes without shaping until Back measures approx 15 (18, 21, 25, 30, 34) cm from end of shaping, ending with a complete 4 row stripe and dec 6 (6, 8, 8, 6, 6) sts evenly across last row. 47 (57, 59, 69, 71, 81) sts.
