CHICAGO - A commander of a Chicago police detective division was reassigned while the department investigates allegations that he refused to stop when an Indiana state trooper tried to pull him over for speeding last month.
Area Central Cmdr. Edward Wodnicki was headed west on Interstate 94 in an unmarked department car, his blue lights flashing, when the trooper tried to stop him near Chesterton, about 45 miles from Chicago,
