About this audiobook

Window Rock, Arizona, is the last known location of Honor Roberts, who vanished when she was just thirteen. It was her only sanctuary from the Breed research that would surely have ended in her death-one such insidious experiment should, indeed, have killed her. That she lived is both a miracle-and a great mystery.

Stygian's mission is to find Honor Roberts, no matter the cost. Now, with the help of Liza Johnson, assistant to the chief of the Navajo Nation, he is closer than ever to his goal. But will the discovery of Honor Roberts mean the destruction of the mating heat that has developed between Stygian and Liza?

I liked it, but then it didn't have anything new that made this book somewhat different than the others. When you read a series as long as the Breeds, you start to find everything a little too repetitive, though never forgetting all that hotness and all that sex scenes just to make us drool. Stygian and Honor were good together, though there were some couples that made my life a lot more happier than them. And I didn't much care for that ending. Way too open.

Predictable but super awesome! I can not wait for the next book! Please let it be the ending of this story arc not another wild leap around! I want Amber to to finally be well so we can get to finding Cassie's mate!

So, happy Lora took this story where the last books were foreshadowing! Although I must say there were points where I was confused about story points. I had to skim through past books trying to see what I had missed or forgotten. Turns out nothing the author just wrote some parts as though we should know details we were never given.

I will keep reading the breeds because I am loyal to the world created and interested in the characters but I really hope the writing steps up and meets me in a happy place!

What a way to leave me hanging! This book was amazing, getting into the spiritual side of the Native Americans that a lot of the Breeds got their DNA from. But we still don't know if Amber will be ok! I like Stygian and his mate and how they end up relating to each other. It was a touching, but also action packed Breed story.

I hope Lora Leigh releases the next book soon!

The overall story is beginning to advance more rapidly than in the past, thank goodness. The answeres are falling into place.
Stygian was described as handsome and strong and Liza was stubborn but didn't know why. I had a very difficult time getting to know both characters. Ms. Leigh pretty much had to do it that way because of the nature of the story. One minute the heroine was one character than the next she was someone else. The hero had to react to all of the personalities emerging. Thus you never got a good hold on who these people really were.
As usual Lucas is hated and heartless.
Baby Amber is not doing so well.
and the mating is to be a good one but secret.

    Quickie Review

An improvement on the last couple of books.
Interesting developments in the plot and the romance is steamy without the angst that characterized the couples in Navarro's Promise and Lawe's Justice.
Wonder whose book will be next.

This is probably one of the best books Lora Leigh has written in some time. Don't get me wrong the last few books have been good and I enjoyed them they just lacked a little something that the earlier books had. This is a continuation of the story line about Amber and Jonas trying to find a cure for what Brandenmore did to her. Jonas is after two breeds and two young women in that are supposed to be part of the Navajo Nation. One of these young women is Honor Roberts which was mentioned in Jacobs Charity. I am surprised that it has taken this long to write her story. I have wondered for years what happened to this person that seemed so important to the continued safety of the Breeds. I also have to wonder if the same experiments that were done on Honor were done on Charity. I loved getting to see Dog and Loki and Mutt and the rest of the Coyotes that seem to live to give Jonas grief. I also have to wonder what little scheme Dog is up to. I have a feeling he can be as bad or worse than Jonas. It was also nice to see Cassie again, although I would have liked to see what she had to say after the attack on Honor. I am curious about what was going on with Liza and the spirits that were with her. I am also curious about the spirit that seems to have attached itself to Stygian. I am pretty sure it is Fawn Corrigan's spirit and she is afraid of Gideon. I would have liked to see more about Gideon and I hope that Lora has a way to same him. He tugs at my heart strings and I would like to see him healed and happy. He so deserves it after all the Genetics Council has put him through. I hope that Lora has a plan to shut down this part of the Council's experiments and lab. I am glad that Gideon is delivering retribution on those that were involved. I am sorry that it is causing so much upset because he is killing them but they deserve so much more. No one should have to put up with so much torture and humiliation. I am hoping the next part of this story will be out soon. I hate that Amber is hurting and so sick. I hate that Jonas is so worried and desperate to find a cure any cure for Amber. I am worried he will miss something and make a mistake that will get him hurt or worse. I definitely recommend this book for any of those that may have given up on the series. While you need to read all the books to understand what is going on in this book I think it would be worth the time.

I liked this book. Lots of action. More plot. MyBetter character developement. Although I missed when Merinus's father mated. Which book is that in? Hot wolf breed sex scenes as expected from Lora Leigh. Can't wait until the next release. Love her facebook page, too.

I feel we are finally getting somewhere. We now know there is more to Jonas than we ever thought. I did find Liza/Honor a little annoying at times. For the first time in several books I feel like we are moving forward in the story line. As always.the love scenes are vrrrrrrry hot.

I said it last book. I'll say it again. It is time to wrap up the Amber being sick and in danger storyline. I use to like Jonas, but now the way the author is writing him I don't like him as much. I didn't feel as this book was written that well. It didn't seem to flow as well as it could have. I'm really not sure why I'm still reading this series. The books haven't been good lately.
