- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Read this book and think about the current events. Then realize this was written in 2006. Israel has been battling the demonic forces of Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran and Islam since its birth, just as the Lord predicted.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Good stuff...bible prophecy.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Rosenberg explains how his background has poised him to become an expert at interpreting modern day events through the "third lens" of scripture. Rosenberg's fiction books based on Biblical prophecy have plotlines eerily close to real life news events--written long before those events came to pass. Here he explains how he came up with those plots, delving into a detailed description of how he interprets certain prophetic passages from the bible.Heady stuff at times, and Rosenberg does quit a bit of self promotion. Prophecy is always facinating though, who doesn't want to know the future?
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Joel Rosenberg is one of my favorite authors. A Messianic Jew, he gives a lot for us to think about in how he approaches the world
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Kevin - This is a whole book written by one of our crazies. The apocalypse is nigh!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Very interesting as it's something I've never read about in any depth. I have a hard time with literal interpretations of the Bible, though the explanations provided here certainly force you to reconsider some previously held assumptions. My only problem is that people have been predicting the end times since the Resurrection and it's yet to happen. That said, this book has some very probable prophecies and this author has been right in the recent past.My major quibble is one of time gap - this book was written in 2006 and several of the major topics discussed in the book (e.g. stability in Iraq) have changed dramatically since the writing. Problem is, they've tended to change in a way that further supports the author's thesis.Basically, it's an interesting, fast read. Worth the time.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Awesome references and positively charged possiblities about Isreal being the center of this conflict. Moved quickly and was very informitive.
