    Guy Kawasaki is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur, best known for his work at Apple to make the Macintosh the iconic brand it is, guaranteeing it a place in technology history. He's since formed his own venture capital firm and writes books about business.While written for people who are looking for investors and expecting to build a company with employees, I got a lot out of this book. Kawasaki states unequivocally that if someone is getting into business to solely to make money,gain power or prestige; they are getting into business for the wrong reason.The list of four possible reasons to get into business all square with what I'm now doing. "Make the world a better place, Increase the quality of life, Right a terrible wrong, Prevent the end of something good." (p5)There's a lot of good in this book and I recommend it for anyone curious about how to start a business.

    Excellent book. Very little fluff. If you've even thought about starting a business, you need to read this. Otherwise, you still need to read it since many of the principles apply within organizations.

    Guy Kawasaki gives a ground floor guide to starting your own business. Eminently practical and full of common sense advice. A little overly USA-focused for this UK reader, but nonetheless worth having on any wannabe-entrepreneur's bookshelf.

    In your face, full of opinions, pithy . . . and gosh I wish that I had thought of all of this before I started a business. One of the best business books that I ever read. And, if you email the author with a question, he actually responds.
