- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Captivating review. Good narration. I only wish there was more detail, but i understand meant to be short.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great book full of useful information very concise and narration is great as well
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Listening to this concise history was an hour well- spent.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5As a broad overview this covered the topic at the surface level well. However, for more in depth coverage of the impact of the French Revolution on the people, I recommend reading/listening "The Black Count" which is the story of Alexander Dumas Sr. within the backdrop of the French Revolution.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is good for what it is, a one hour summary of a ten-year series of revolutions. However, in that amount of time one can only touch on the basics, and the author can't do much but provide a quick summary of each major event in the period.
This isn't necessarily a pro or con, but this book assumes at least some prior knowledge of the Revolution. If like me you learned approximately nothing about the French Revolution in school, it may be a good idea to look up an article or video online to get the very basics down. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5All the time I needed to learn history. Well put together. And the audiobook is so pleasant to listen to. Well done.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5With breathtaking pace the author chases through the gripping story of the French Revolution, it‘s ideals as well as it‘s horrors.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great summary - definitely worth checking out if you know very little about the French Revolution.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was a short, concise, yet well-rounded telling of the French revolution, and I felt informed by it. I enjoyed it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Well narrated, incredibly concise, and told as a story with brief analysis - not just a list of facts. Brilliant.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I have always been a history buff and I love the Napoleonic era. This pre-Napoleon era is quite unique and is described quite well taking into consideration the name “in a nutshell”.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very good primer on the French Revolution. Well narrated too.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Es corto y conciso. Lleno de datos interesantes. para tener una aproximación global a la revolución francesa merece la pena. Lo único que a veces se corta abruptamente.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Maybe a bit too condensed. Although, if you pay attention to the names and dates it will. Provide a framework to build upon.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Brief and informative, a good summary to understand what happened in the revolution

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A quick intro into a deep subject. Well written and narrated.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Too fast reading. The narrator could keep the pace a bit slower as the history itself is very complex
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Corto y preciso, aunque al final terminas con muchos datos y nombres que se hacen difíciles de conectar.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Nice summary of a bloody period in french history nicely read
