About this audiobook

A James Bond-meets-Austin Powers spoof about the gadget maker for a crime-fighting organization run by women. Jane Spyrus likes nothing more than devising new inventions, but even she knows her shrink-wrap prophylactic constraints, spray-on truth serum and her other...rather innovative creations won't help save her kidnapped neighbor from the evil Ensecksi family.

I loved this book when I read it years ago but I absolutely hated the narrator. I think she might be the same one that did "The Last Man On Earth" which was mercifully a short novella. I had to skip through to the end of the book because I could not have lived with over 9 hours of that voice. Its terrible. The book was great though and I am a huge Lynsay Sands fan.

I love this book. I laughed out loud while reading it. A romantic spy spoof, it had great characters, humorous situations, steamy scenes, and a quirky plot. How can you not enjoy a book with names like 'Dirk Ensecksi' and 'Abel Andretti'?

OMG. This is my first thought after reading this book. I so needed this. I had recently been in a book slump and so I needed something to read that would not require a lot of my attention. I was wrong. Sometimes it is good to be wrong. The reason I was wrong is because this book was so much fun to read that I could not stop reading it. Jane, Abel, and Jane's Gram were all super stars in their own right. Take Jane for example. She was brain smart but naïve when it came to being a spy. It is a good thing that her targets were clueless. I loved the gadgets that she created. There is the tracking device that doubles as a real tampon, then there is the mini missile shaped like a vibrator, and I can't forget the shrinking condom. These are just a few of her gadgets. Second there is Abel. He is not only sexy but a little doofy as well. Which in turn related to loveable. Which the romance between Abel and Jane were good and it did not take away from the story line. Lastly there is Jane's Gram. She really was on her "A" game. She brought the comedic relief and helped Jane being a spy. Ok well saying she is a spy is a bit of a stretch. So if you are looking for a book to read for some laughs you have to check this one out.

I almost didn’t read this book but I am so glad I did. It was a fun read. Witty, unbelievable and so funny. I laughed out loud when they described Jane’s cooking skills because I’m good at washing up but awful at cooking too. Lovely story
