Long before they were spirit animals, the four were still legends--Great Beasts, the most powerful beings to roam the wilds of Erdas. Aided by a brave resistance of humans and animals, they gave their lives to protect the world from a threat more dangerous than any it had seen before: their own kind. But a dark force has emerged. Older than memory, it has slept for centuries beneath the surface of the world. With the power to tear away spirit animals, it begins a rampage that will be felt in every corner of Erdas. If the young heroes can't stop it, the darkness will first consume the spirit animals, and then consume the world.

(Any body who didn’t read Hunted yet don’t read this)

Some people say that the second book Hunted made no sense like Connors mother didn’t act like a mother. But, if you have 2 other children will you let them starve? No, you wouldn’t. Also, Connors mom is desperate. She’s just asking for food from the green cloaks nothing else. And Connor doesn’t have a bad history with the earl of Trunswick. It’s just that his father Fenray has to pay money to the earl.
