About this audiobook
David L. Golemon
David L. Golemon is the author of the Event Group Thrillers, including Event, Ancients, Leviathan and Primeval. Legend, the second book in the series, was nominated for a RITA award for paranormal fiction. Golemon learned an early love of reading from his father, who told him that the written word, unlike other forms, allows readers to use their own minds, the greatest special effects machines of all—an idea Golemon still believes. The only thing he loves more than writing is research, especially historical research, and he sees the subtext of his Event novels as being that understanding history allows us to create a better future. Golemon grew up in Chino, California, and now makes his home in New York.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Another action packed adventure. Loved the opening chapters, and the Ryan action.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This is the 3rd book in the Event Group series. I didn't enjoy it as much as the first 2 because the premise dealt with the discovery of Atlantis and I think that subject has been overdone in recent years. Also, that subject is a bit hard to believe, although I think all of the books in this series are going to deal with "hard to believe" subjects.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5If you enjoy the X-files and similiar genre books this third book in the series is a good afternoon/evening read. It continues the saga of the "Event" group and their continuing adventures dealing with things that go bump in th night or just plainly unexplainable. This one is set in South America and dealing with anicient tombs and what people will do with those tombs. Like hide a secret and kill to keep it.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Finally brought this one home - it has been serving as my locker book for six months or better. Started out alright, but ...I haven't picked it up in a couple of months now.The Atlanteans still walk amongst us.They mastered the technology of sound - could do incredible things with it. IN the effort to civilize the barbarians of their world, the destroyed their homeland. But some escaped. They have stayed in contact with one another over the millenia. Only those of pure Atlantean blood are acknowledged and accepted - half breeds are executed to keep the blood pure. For centuries they have been the power behind the throne, manipulating rulers and economic bases to bring their dream of unified world peace to fruition - but SOMETHING always happens to throw their plans awry.Millenia after they destroyed their home, they have realized the in-breeding has destroyed their race - and if they want to bring about their dreams of a unified world at peace, they must move NOW, before the last Atlantean dies.Problem is, the moderns aren't interested in obeying their Ancient masters orders!!
