      This is the first book of the Angel Crawford Series, and first time reading this author. Evangeline "Angel" Crawford is a knock-out chick that is able to take a good lick, as a bounty-hunter who was once a Sentinel journalist. She has a twin-sister, Avalyn aka Ava, who gets into a mischief of mysterious events as First Lady to Greater Faith Church in Atlanta. Angel has a deep crush on the pastor of her church, Justus Morgan, who is quite the friendly shepherd and also is attracted to this firecracker, lovely lady as well. You want to see the sparks set up but instead the heat is on the killer of Devon (Ava's husband, and bishop of Greater Faith). Sadly, it is who you least expect but has a slanted motive, be careful who is close to you in ministry.4.25 stars.
