- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow. This book is just amazing. I read about 100 non fiction books a year and this book is really impressive. I read some other books about how to make difficult changes, but this book was way clearer and gave more good examples.
I've already implemented a new follow through plan for my business and my wife for exercising 3x a week (I taught her this info). Can't believe this book is only 4h long. The knowledge was very relevant and impactful and enough detail knowledge to really understand it. It's very logical. The part of about pain and pleasure in the short and long run was very insightful. Before I read this book I already built several habits over the years such as exercise, meditation, healthy food and reading, but now I feel way more competent tackling my new goal which is consistently working on creating value with my business. I think the writer could make a follow up book with a new chapter on trial and error (if your follow through plan doesn't work, analyse why, make small adjustment and try again). I'm very happy for this book and like to give thanks to the author. The compactness of the book shows that he is practicing what he preaches. ),2 people found this helpful
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great techniques recommended. My advice is speed it up to 1.8 as the speech rate is quite slow so you'll understand everything anyway

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I came across this book and I can’t believe how much this book empowered me and helped me understand why doing the “unsexy” activities in business have held me back (until now). Just after three days of listening to this audiobook I implemented some of the strategies and finished my book. I have struggled with this book for over two years constantly saying “I’ll get it done” but never did. Now I know why and I’m thankful. I’m listening to it again to really let it sink in so I can go even higher. Thank you. Tracy W
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The first part of the book is interesting. It explains in dept of why having motivation is simply not enough to be successful. The second part gives you tips and tricks on how to get things done and follow through even when you don't feel like it. For me, as a person who have self-help as my favourite reading genre for years and have read many self-help books, I didn't learn anything new to improve my following through skill. The book doesn't really offer any unique techniques that other similar books haven't mentioned. Despite of that I do learn from the first part about the important of motivation and action. We always hear about having motivation is not that important but not many books really explain more about it. This book does. I would recommend this book to those who just starts dipping there toes into self-help genre. But to others, this book is more like a summary of some techniques.
