- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Great sequel to the first Sin Du Jour novel, Envy of Angels. Sometimes the sequel to a enjoyable novel is a disappointment but this isn’t. All the characters from the first novel are back. I liked the author’s goblins who are basically most of the actors in Hollywood, and especially his cheeky take on who the Goblin King was.
There’s a short bonus story included which gives the background to how the gold for the royal wedding feast was found. Anyone from the British isles will have a hard time listening to the narrator’s version of a Welsh accent. He seems to think that an Irish accent is the same as a Welsh one. Apart from that, it was an interesting, rather sad story
