      Far more complex story than I expected from the Amazon write-up. Looks at two big emotional issues faced by almost every reader at some point: the regrets and mistakes made when ending relationships and the downsides of trying to hide information to protect others (even with the best of intentions). Liked the hero and heroine, and their banter. Also impressed by the author's ability to give a fairly complete understanding of minor characters such as Ellen in only a few sentences. Towards the end tho, there were entirely too many plot manipulations designed to tie up loose ends. A worthy beginning.
