About this audiobook
Now the mysterious feared demon, Vadik, has discovered their location in Peru and has taken Ryker and sold Zoey back to DMG. The very place which gave her life now might take it away. Or someone she loves . . . Dr. Rapava is so obsessed with building an army against the fae, he will do anything to control Zoey and her newfound powers.
Zoey has to become an unfeeling, brainwashed soldier to survive. But when her survival depends on torturing one to keep another alive, she is forced to make the ultimate sacrifice. And neither choice is one she can live with.

Reviews for Across The Divide

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Ryker and Zoey are apart for a lot of this book and even when they get back together it's hard to read because the situation they're in is changing them. Especially Ryker. Don't expect this to be resolved because it ends on a right cliffhanger!
Stacey has a great way of developing some really good side characters and a lot of characters in this book start to show a different side to themselves. Some characters came forth and showed their true colours whereas others shocked me with their preference of allegiance. This is definitely the darkest and more gruesome of the books so far. I wouldn't have had it any other way because it wouldn't have given the same emphasis on how bad this world is.
You feel all the emotions in this one and Zoey's character is really tested from start to finish. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Across The Divide starts off where The Barrier Between (Collector #2) ended. Zoey Daniels has been captured by Vadik and returned to DMG. She is turning into a Fae and being tested/tortured by Dr. Rapava. Stacey Marie Brown has out done herself. Across The Divide has become my favorite book in the Collector Series.Stacey Marie Brown’s character development is noteworthy. Zoey is a phenomenal heroine. She has undergone so much; the pain and torment just do not stop. She is strong and clever. She will do whatever it takes to protect the people that have become her family. Croygen becomes a good friend to Zoey. I could see how he, and Ryker were allies. They really do have a lot in common. I love Ryker’s character. He suffers tremendously throughout this book. He discovers some interesting things about his past. He struggles against the oath he made Zoey.I still love Sprig. He is the cutest “ADD, narcoleptic, honey-addicted monkey-sprite.” I don’t say that every day. I want one as my friend. His comments crack me up. Both Dr. Boris Rapava and Vadik are malicious advisories. The two are amazingly alike considering they are enemies. They are both pure evil, power hungry, and brutal. The plot was incredible. I was chomping at the bit the whole time I was reading the story. There are so many surprises and twists. We discovered a lot of pertinent information that happened in the past; not to mention the cliffhanger ending. I cannot wait for the book four, From Burning Ashes. If you have not read the previous books in the series, I would definitely start with book one, City in Embers. Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review.
