Saving lives is the end goal. It's a responsibility I live with every day, the reason I wear the badge.

Built on a brotherhood that runs deeper than blood, this way of life has become my very existence . . .

Until Liberty.

I thought I was saving her.

I never expected her to be the one saving me.

River Savage is becoming one of my top authors.

Every book I have picked up I have thoroughly enjoyed. Each book has a classic A hole alpha and a sassy heroine but there's also a plot and some massive character development.

Hetch is a man in uniform, neighbour trope and Hetch (Liam) definitely wears the unifrom well. I think it's probably what made me fall in love with him half the time.

River Savage knows how to write steam and I highly recommend you pick up one of her books if you haven't already.

As soon as I saw the cover for Hetch I've been desperate to read the novel. Men OF S.W.A.T. is a new series from Ms. River Savage and as she just happens to be one of my favourite authors I knew I was in for a treat. And I was right, Hetch, the first book from this series, was absolutely amazing.Liam Hetcherson, or Hetch, has worked hard to become the leader of his S.W.A.T. team. He has had to perfect his skills in talking people out of hostage situations and even suicide, which unfortunately, he has had some experience in his personal life. He's good at his job, but it's very stressful, and sometimes the pressure gets to him. The problem with Hetch is he likes the responsibility and to help others, but he forgets about help for himself.Liberty's been working at Boy's Haven a home for teen boy's. She has a busy job keeping many of the young lads on the straight and narrow as they believe an easy life can be found on the streets. But she wouldn't give up her job for the world, and she's alway's doing what she can for them.Their first meeting is very unconventional. To say that Hetch is hot is really an understatement, he's "smoking hot sex on a stick" and a bit of a manwhore, a different girl in his bed just about every night, but Liberty turns out to be a bit stubborn, when she's made up her mind about something, she likes to stick to it, Hetch, well, he has a very strong backbone and a persistent streak, no way is he taking a brush off and letting Liberty get away. There's a lot of sexy hotness in this story, also tenderness, dramatic action and suspense. I really enjoyed Hetch, I found there was just the right mixture of romance, cop and life drama and it's consequences to keep me interested. This book also had plenty of interesting secondary characters, I can't wait for who's coming next.
