About this audiobook
Lucian is a Dragon Prince of the House of Smoke . . . and he's dying. He has to spawn a dragonling to uphold the treaty that keeps the mortal world safe from the immortal Dark Fae, but a dragon's mate rarely survives the birth of a young dragon, and he can't face the horror of another woman's death on his hands. When he rescues a beautiful woman from a demon roaming the streets of Seattle, he has to seduce her without losing his heart . . . and before he turns into a feral dragon and breaks the treaty forever.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Good but recording problem. For some reason the end of each chapter would be chopped in the middle of the final sentence.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Great book! loved the narration and the story. this series is my first with dragons and I have always put dragon shifter books off because I didn't think I would like them. this definitely changed my mind about that. except that apparently some dragons are morons! lucian really aggravated me with all he did to try to stay away from her. I understood why he thought it was necessary but some of the stuff he did was just going too far.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Overall good. But at one point I seriously wanted to punch Lucian for all the stupid things he was doing. Also, did he never consider that his first mate didn't survive because she didn't have true love for him?
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Arabella has been so much more than Lucian could have expected/anticipate . . .Can I get an oh baby? Dragon Prince or not Lucian was one smoking hot male specimen. He took my breath away already not the heat has intensified. I am excited to learn more and become more attached to Lucian and Arabella. The bonus was having the interaction with shifters (dragons), fae, angels (fallen), and a few others to mix things up a bit. I am not sure what else can be pulled out to make the story richer. I do kn ow this that Alisa Woods will do her job and make it enrich and filled with entertainment to pull me further into the world of the Fallen Immortals. Book 3 I await your surfacing.Lucian and ArabellaKiss of a Dragon (Fallen Immortals 1) Draws you into.Heart of a Dragon (Fallen Immortals 2) Binds you to the journey.Fire of a Dragon (Fallen Immortals 3) waiting . . . .***advance copy provided for an honest review***
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Alisa Woods’ HEART OF A DRAGON starts after book one, KISS OF A DRAGON, left off. Dragon shifter Lucian Smoke is fighting his urge to claim Arabella Sharp as his mate for fear of losing her. However, if he doesn’t claim a mate soon and have a dragonling, he will be overcome by the wyvern. This contemporary PNR takes place in Washington State and is suitable for adult audiences.I like Lucian. He has a good heart. He is afraid to put Arabella in danger because he loves her. I was disappointed with some of his actions in this story, but it is understandable what drives him. I love that so many people care about him and fight for him and Arabella. Arabella is smart, strong, and determined. I love that she does not give up on Lucian.I like blue dragon, Cinaed. He is a loyal friend to Lucian. He makes a good guard for Arabella. I love his interactions with Arabella’s best friend, Rachel. Those two are pretty humorous. The plot continues to be exciting and well-thought-out. We discover the history and details of the treaty between the Fae and House of Smoke. Zephan emerges in the story again. He is not a nice Fae. He is a ruthless foe to Lucian. Some of the things he has done are unforgivable. I like how this story ended, and I look forward to book three FIRE OF A DRAGON.Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review.
