- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book has been so helpful to me because I have always had trouble sleeping. I have always had to rely on sleeping pills to go to sleep and even then my sleep is interrupted. I have received some useful advice from this book that I am using now to help my sleep and it has beem working without pills!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Interesting with some good ideas on how to improve sleep quality.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was not what I expected. Yes, he gives some of the typical sleep advice, such as bedtime and awakening schedules, but he added a very different perspective that has improved my sleep.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5fun adn educating, eye opening and important to know even if you think you don't have any sleep issues, bad sleep can be causing you other problems
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Dr. Winter changed my sleep life 100%. I no longer worry about sleep. Occasionally I can't go to sleep so I think about how great it is to be able to relax w/o guilt - it is bedtime after all. It is my duty - for the sake of my health and productivity (which together will result in maximizing my ability to do my part to help make the world a better place) - to rest. My stresses will still be there tomorrow when I can take action. If my body really needs sleep it will take over and do so. In the meantime I can simply lie there and rest. I used to worry I had some odd sleep disorder but after being taught by Dr. Winter what those really are I see I do not. Worry itself, plus not knowing how to schedule my sleep were my problems; after learning what's actually going I am sleeping like a baby. Thank you, Dr. Winter.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Discusses sleep broadly and solutions to the different problems. Thanks
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book by Chris Winters is excellent. I have been reading about sleep and exploring the topic for a while. However, it is only now I found some good books on sleep. This book is readable and accessible to a wide audience. Chris Winters has made the science comprehensible, which is good for a lay audience. If you are American, the product recommendations are good - and helpful. All in all, an excellent book.
