About this audiobook

Talon Avalon is a Timecaster; a cop who is able to look back in time and view crimes that have already happened. But that was before he was framed by an alternate version of himself from another dimension. Now he's being hunted in this world, and countless parallel worlds, as the biggest mass-murderer in history.

While trying to save his kidnapped wife and clear his name, Talon fights to prevent a series of mishaps that could destroy the multiverse, along with the very fabric of spacetime. He only has a few hours to save an infinity of humanity. All it will take is guts, his fists, plenty of narcotics and adrenaline, some high tech weaponry, a wise-ass sidekick, a few talking dinosaurs, and enough strength to survive a plethora of erotic encounters.

Time is NOT on his side.

great book. hard to follow which dimension and which version of the character is in focus though.
    I want more timecaster.

    one remarkably crazy book

this is the second book in the (as yet) incomplete timecaster trilogy.

after the cliffhanger of the first book you think that the book will roll forward in the methodical pursuit of the villain by the hero...

...this is not what happens. It changes tack into a reality hopping mind bending adventure with a lot of extra heroes and villains to go around.

the bonkers buddy comedy elements are still there and they get even weirder.

the crazy cultural references are there too

the book even pauses at several points to make fun of itself comparing events to something you would read in a bad sci fi novel.

this novel features a banana that sings the blues (not kidding)

my only gripe is that this book ends on an even bigger cliffhanger and features to taunt of the title of the third part which the author will get round to writing when he has time.

It's a crazy book. But I liked it. The narrator is perfect!

Bottom of the rack for cyberpunk material. Feels like it was written by a 10 year old with a porn addiction. Started with promise then had every trope dumped in for some unknown reason.

It would have been better without all the crazy shit. Also, maybe a few less Deus ex machina. There should be some rules in world building that don’t get broken when the author writes themselves into corners.
