Imogen is a runaway heiress, an orphan, a cook, and a cheat.
Jule is a fighter, a social chameleon, and an athlete.
An intense friendship. A disappearance. A murder, or maybe two.
A bad romance, or maybe three.
Blunt objects, disguises, blood, and chocolate. The American dream, superheroes, spies, and villains.
A girl who refuses to give people what they want from her.
A girl who refuses to be the person she once was.

So addictive, I listened to it in one day. An interesting execution of a compelling, twisted story. It was amazing to see a character who thought herself to be the hero of her story while being pretty much the villain of everyone else's.

There was one element of the story I didn't like and that was being written in the third person. I think the book would benefit from being in the first person perspective.

It is a little hard to follow but otherwise is a very interesting book to hear during your spare time.
