About this audiobook

She is programmed to kill.

He’ll do anything to survive.

When Captain Caleb Shepperd is released from prison, all he wants to do is keep his head down and smuggle contraband through the nine systems. But there’s a problem with that plan. The synthetic human stowed away in his cargo bay carries secrets from a past he thought he’d escaped. Secrets that could bring him and the nine systems to its knees.

Now the authorities want Shepperd dead and his ship in pieces. And the synth? Well, she has an itchy trigger finger and murder on her synthetic mind.

Shepperd is about to discover he can’t outrun his past, especially when that past has orders to kill.

Action, drama and suspense collide in this no-holds-barred sci-fi adventure!

Good story line, too much time spent on sexual overtones

Excellent storyline. Excellent narration. Sound effects were an added benefit.

The added error messages were a nice touch. Just give the story that extra layer. Caleb is not a hero, he not a good guy. Well, that’s what he thinks, yet deep down he is trying to do what is right. Kind of. A little. Either way, he knows he screwed up big time. He hates himself for it. He just wants to forget but he can’t.

1001 is a really unknown element. You don’t know what way she could go, bad or good? It makes it a very interesting read, wondering will she go super ninja and just murder everything or just super ninja knock everyone out. Either is entertaining to me.
