      I have been following this series since the first book was out and have loved every word. I'm always sad to see the end of a series, but this one was an apt finale. Lindsay is a self confessed and reformed puck bunny. She knows that her addiction to hockey players can mess up all her dreams for her future and end up like her mom. So she fights Ryder tooth and nail to force him to keep his distance. Ryder loves challenges. For the first time in his life Ryder is clear about what he wants and he wants Lindsay. Tutoring her in math is the perfect excuse. With her he can be who he truly is and as is to be expected, feelings grow and grow more complicated. Lindsay's graduating but Ryder still has two more years so they agree to have fun for as long as it lasts. But a past whether hidden or concealed always comes back to haunt you and of course Ryder makes a mess of things. And how he decides to focus on a future in the NHL with or without Lindsay is about the toughest challenge he's faced yet. A lovely conclusion to the Taking Shots seriesI received an Advanced Reader's Copy from the Publisher via NetGalley for voluntary review consideration.

      Of the whole series this one and Beck and Lyla's story were the ones I enjoyed the most I loved seeing them all together I think there should be a next one with all of them as couples!!
      I didn't think I'd like Ryder as much as I did honestly because he wasn't explored in the other stories which I get. But yeah I enjoyed getting to know him more and his playful personality and Lindsey she was everything what I expected and more! I enjoyed the way their relationship was developed. Haters to friends to lovers Yes please!!!

      My favorite story of the series!

      The dramatic ending started too early for me but I really enjoyed this story. They both acted like 18-22 year olds and made some bone-headed decisions but it fit the story. I wish the parents would have had to eat major crow but we don't always get everything we want! ?

      I absolutely love this series. It is both serious and funny, I know, and it has real hockey in it. There are so many books that claim to be hockey books, and they never mention one bit of hockey. Cindi Madsen knows about hockey, and I love it!

      The confessions of the puck bunny are so funny, they start out sections of Linsey’s thoughts and she goes from there on her little tangents. Like how Ryder’s sexy voice sends fuzzy tingles down her entire body or how she kissed him and she liked it. She tries her hardest to push Ryder away at all costs because she doesn’t want to get her heart broken again.

      Ryder is so taken with Lindsey that he is all out going for it and he will not stop until he gets her. He pretty much told her that he always gets what he wants when he puts his mind to it. When he is the only one that makes, her understand math, that is his in with her.

      The back and forth between these two is sometimes comical and totally frustrating. The ups and downs and back and forth is at times kindle breaking worthy. But in the end, I loved every word of this book, especially the end. This whole series is great.

      I keep finding these really great authors only to find out I started at the end of a series. This was my first book by this author and it won't be my last. I had no problem following along without reading the first three books. Ryan was a super sweet guy who deserves the best girl he can find and that was Lindsay. He was smart, sweet, sexy, and could play hockey. I really liked that Lindsay had a past that though she kinda embarrassed by it, she stayed true to herself by becoming, what she thought, was a much better person for that experience. Going back to read the rest of the series. And I recommend this book.Thanks Netgalley

      Cindi Madsen’s CONFESSIONS OF A FORMER PUCK BUNNY is a winning addition to the Taking Shots series. Former puck bunny and school newspaper editor of the Heights, Lindsay Rivera, has sworn off hockey players. However, persistent defenseman, Ryder "Ox" Maddox, makes it difficult when he becomes her math tutor. This story takes place at Boston College. It is suitable for New Adult audiences.I like Lindsay. We met her in book two, ANATOMY OF A PLAYER. She was Whitney’s bitter editor because of being hurt by hockey star, Hudson Decker. Lindsay used to be a puck bunny, she didn’t like the person she became and swore off hockey players. She doesn’t want to follow in her mother’s footsteps, needing a man to support her. She is determined to become a successful independent woman. Ryder is a great guy. He is a total math nerd and excellent tutor who doesn’t belittle the people he is helping. He comes off as quiet, but he has a great sense of humor. He has a lot of pressure being the son of a former NHL star and mother who is a politician. I love the witty banter between Lindsay and Ryder. I like how both characters grow as a result of their relationship, becoming better individuals. I enjoyed the plot and Cindi Madsen’s writing style. I love the confessions throughout the story. Sadly, Lindsay never really had any friends. I appreciated that she befriended the girls from the three previous books: Lyla Wilder, Whitney Porter, and Megan Davenport. The hockey passages were skillfully written. I love the paintball scenes. There were numerous unexpected twists that made the story compelling. The novel had a great ending that felt well resolved. I look forward to the next story in the Taking Shots series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

      Lindsey Rivera a former puck bunny. She spent her early years in college chasing meaningless hookups, especially hockey players, they were her favourite. Until she had her heart broken, by a hockey player no less. Since then she has turned her life around and concentrated on her school work, she's doing well but needs to raise her math marks. Luckily there's someone willing to help....Unluckily, he's a smoking hot hockey player, Ryder "Ox" Maddox. Geeees! Can Lindsey keep to her guns and resist her yummy, hot, math teacher. Ryder has wanted Lindsey for a while now and he's determined to make her his and her needing math help is a great excuse for him to get close. This was a fun read. Lindsey's confessions are added to the story which were sometimes quite amusing and she really tries to stick to her "no hockey players" plan, while Ryder tries every thing he's got to prove to Lindsey he's a good man.The story goes more in depth about their earlier lives which brings them closer together, and Lindsey came clean about a lot of issues that helps Ryder understand her previous behaviour, Ryder also spoke about his life at home.An entertaining book which has laughs and also deep, moving moments, I enjoyed it very much.I highly recommend it!
