      The accent for Ryan was horrible. I mean just HORRID. The female narrator was better than the male, but this was hard to listen to bc of the narrators. This was not my fav by Alexandria, but I’m gonna stick to the series as I have loved her previous books.. but somebody, please go get Wesliegh S and Jakobi D.

      I thought Angela was cool, Ryan on the other hand...not so much! An okay read.
      I don't recommend the audiobook for this one. Ryan's narrator tried an accent and it didn't go well. Try the ebook version instead.

      Love the writing style and character development! There was just enough family drama from the side w to also keep the story entertaining. There was no plot twist at the and just a feel good romance. I’m going to follow along in the other books to read about the Strickland sisters’ stories.

      Loved the story once I convinced my brain to ignore the fact that the female narrator's attempt at a Louisiana/Cajun accent ended up sounding Caribbean! LOL!

      Angela Strickland gave up on live from two failed past relationships. So when her new tenant moved in, she wanted him, but wouldn't give him the time of day. Ryan was not a relationships type of person and strayed away from them as much as possible, until he met Angela. Getting to know each other, they both broke their own rules and gave them a try and realized it was the best decision in their lives. I loved everything about Angela and Ryan and thought they were perfect for each other. I jave been putting off this series, but boy I'm glad I read it. Ms. House is so talented with her pen and I can't wait to read the remaining books in this series!!!!

      I was hesitant to listen to this book because, I do NOT like the female narrator. I am definitely not a fan of Mari. She is horrible! She does such a disservice to the characters and, although she's a co-narrator, she monopolizes most of the the book. But, because the story line it self was good and Sean Crisden does an awesome job, I was able to soldier on and get through the book. I was so excited when I figured out Angela was 4C Angie from Let Me Free You. Her and Ryan's love story was so sweet! I love that there wasn't a whole lot of drama. It really was just a build up to great relationship with a minor bump in the road along the way. My favorite scene in the book was definitely when Mama Strickland let Daddy Strickland have it at the anniversary dinner. Whew child! My biggest issue with the female narrator is how she voiced Ryan's accent. Ryan was from Louisiana but, she voiced him with a Jamaican accent. Sean's portrayal of Ryan's accent was spot on. He did a great job. I just don't understand how how the author can be okay with things like that. While this was a really good book, I don't know that I would recommend the audiobook to anyone.

      The narrators were amazing and that southern drawl from Ryan made every intimate scene just that more special.

      There is something so special about Alexandria House’s books that makes me get up at 5 a.m to work out and run in the evening only to get my alone time with the characters. Those scenes are made for burning off “extra” energy.

      Just finished the audio version of this book at work and I had to keep looking around to make sure that no one else could hear the goodness filling my ears. You knocked it out of the park lady! Now on to the next book in the series ?
