Her experiences within several school districts throughout the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area, has
shaped her philosophical beliefs as relevant to the discriminatory treatment of this population of children during
their formal schooling beginning with preschool.
Dr. Ali's quiet demeanor but candid approach to dealing with the racial injustice of Black boys, earned her the
name "quiet storm" by a professor during her doctoral studies.
To date, Dr. Ali remains on the battlefield fighting the War on Racism. She is the founder of BWARE -
