About this ebook

All around the globe, people are being reported dead or missing.

In Berlin, a woman vanishes from the city streets. In Paris, a man plunges from the Eiffel Tower. In Denver, a small plane crashes into the mountains. In Manhattan, a body washes ashore along the East River. At first these seem to be random incidents, but the police soon discover that all four of the victims are connected to Kingsley International Group (KIG), the largest think tank in the world.

Kelly Harris and Diane Stevens—young widows of two of the victims—encounter each other in New York, where they have been asked to meet with Tanner Kingsley, the head of KIG. He assures them that he is using all available resources to find out who is behind the mysterious deaths of their husbands. But he may be too late. Someone is intent on murdering both women, and they suffer a harrowing series of near escapes. Who is trying to kill them and why?

Forced together for protection, suspicious of each other and everyone around them, and trying to find answers for themselves, the two widows embark on a terrifying game of cat and mouse against the unknown forces out to destroy them.

Taut with suspense and vivid characterization, full of shocking twists, and with an unnervingly realistic premise that could alter all of our lives, the long-awaited Are You Afraid of the Dark? is Sidney Sheldon at the top of his game.

I like Sidney Sheldon so this was another good read for me. After 4 people that were connected to a "think" tank, mysteriously die/killed. The spouses are forced to join together - there is mystery until the end of story!

Are You Afraid of the Dark? is another amazing read by Sidney Sheldon. With a twisted plot and an amazing hero, it was perfect for a night of mystery. At first, it seemed a little too damsel-in-distress for me, but it turned out to have the perfect blend of suspense and salvation. Rating - 5 stars for perfectly crafted plot

In this book all around the world people are dead or missing and they are all linked to KIG. I think this was a good solid book. The twist at the end was good. I would recommend this to anyone who likes suspense or thinks that the government has to much power.

This is a really fun read. It is not the most believable in terms of story, but the pacing is so fast that I didn't really care. If your in the mood for a quick and exciting read, pick this one up.

This story is predictable, trite and utterly cliché. The successful author that Sidney Sheldon used to be is no where to be found in this B-movie book. I do not recommend it.

I'm glad to hear that Mr. Sheldon has continued writing novels. Overall I thought the book was good, however not as suspenseful as I had hoped it would be. Although, I was suprised to learn about Princess. And then I thought why didn't I see that coming? If you enjoyed reading his past books, at least give this one a try. I don't think it's "ownership-worthy" so check it out at the library.

Four people have died who are working on the same project. Quite scary as some of the ideas which may have seemed so far fetched when they were written are happening now!
