Biography

Introduction

What’s in this book is the Pa Tuan Chin and these are an energy circulation exercise. It doesn’t matter how long one has been doing Tai Chi, they can always be practised and improved upon. They’re sort of like a moving Chi Kung but somewhat more practical and mechanical. I show an advanced Pa Tuan Chin sometimes and people love it to bits, combining flowing movements and imagination but I’ve noticed more recently that bodies can require conditioning and what’s shown here will do that. They’re described in detail as they go along but can also be viewed on video which would help to make more sense of them. It probably takes about a year to learn these until one just does them, starts feeling it and isn’t trying to remember something

I’ve included some of the warm up exercises for the form. At the end there are a couple more exercises for straightening the spine. One of the exercises will help remedy Sciatica.
