    I watched the BBC show on fasting but it didn’t contain the kinds of effective fasts I found in this book. The book is a real bargain because it contains the author’s excellent theory on developing good habits as a bonus.

    It helps to have some experience in dietary composition, and measuring food calories. I was surprised that some of these fasting plans do not require large-scale changes in your eating plans, just a willingness to stop eating for 12 hours or longer.
