This is a very detailed book about hairstyling and has great detail. Mostly it's fun just to flip though and see the many illustrations and photos. There are so many different styles in this book.I also like the tips about hair care. When I requested this book I had longer hair but have since cut it too short for many of the styles shown. That doesn't matter as there are useful tips about hair care through out. It will be a fun book for my granddaughter as she will love trying the many styles.

Overall, I think this book is a good, step by step guide for creating hair styles that you might see in the magazines or on celebrities. I like how it is divided according to the style you are looking for: casual, out and about, sporty, dress up, and extra special. It is also great that each style gives you not only step by step directions, but also tells you which hair types are best for each style. You can also look for styles that are just best for your hair type. The steps are also given in both picture and word form, which is great. Some could use a few more steps, though.

I have never been good at doing my own hair... I can pretty much only do a basic braid and leave it at that. This book provides clear and easy instructions for a lot of different dos! I am still a little clumsy to get all the braids in there, but the photos are great ideas for my wedding hair style!

I received a free copy of this in exchange for my honest review, and honestly, I am disappointed. The author and I apparently have completely different definitions of "perfect". Every style looked messy to me, with flyaways and other hairs sticking out even in the photos. They look much more like average hair days than perfect.

The book is good quality and has great photos and illustrations, but I wish there were a few more. Each hairstyle only has a finished photo from 1 angle, so you don't get to see the whole thing. The section on care seems like it is written for newbies, but if so, it should go into greater detail and give examples.

A great book to have for the woman looking to have a variety of hairstyles at her disposal. Comes with photos, hand illustrated step by step photos along with well written instructions of achieving the hairstyle. It does lack a section for shorter haired woman so would recommend for women with medium to long hair lengths. Also contains a section of hair problem resolutions and other information.

My 13-year-old daughter is quite the amateur hairstylist lately, and we were both excited to receive this book! We have been trying the hairstyles out for the past few days. I liked it that the book was separated by category, and very clearly laid out in a way that makes it easy to find what you're looking for. We both like that the styles it mentions are easy to accomplish, with very clear step-by-step instructions. I appreciate that the book both mentions which styles work best with which types of hair, and how each can be adapted if your type of hair is one that is normally not as well suited. My daughter, a huge YouTube hair how-to aficionado, says that she knew how to do a lot of these styles already, but I didn't. And I really don't think that I'd understand half as well seeing them on YouTube, particularly things like knowing which materials to have on hand. But for what it's worth, Bella is ready to see 1,000 Perfect Hair Days, so whenever the author is up for it, she's ready for a sequel! I feel like we'll be using this book a lot!

I have never, ever been any good at doing my own hair. But things are changing. 100 Perfect Hair Days is such a great resource for me (and all the other ladies who struggle to do hair). I love the step by step illustrations and the simple instructions. I also like that with most of the styles, they show alternatives and give many, many tips. I'll definitely be purchasing this title for my branch. My teen patrons will love it!

What a wonderful book! I love that the author has taken the time to show in detail, step by step how to do many different styles. Jenny Strebe has also broken it down further by showing what types of hair work best with each style and then she also cross references styles within the book to others in the book to make sure you fully understand how to do a style. The back of the book has hair care tips and the different tools needed to do the styles she has put in the book. The photography is beautifully done and the illustrations are well drawn. I suggest this book to anyone with longer hair looking to change up their style without having to cut it. This book would be good for a stylist in their shop or in a private home to work with your own hair from.I received a copy of this book for the purpose of review.
