    Chef, is the soup ready?

    The host is ending the spiel now. Jeopardy, run to the photographers and tell them to set up the booth.

    Okay, Julia.

    Pam –

    Got it, Julia.

    Chef Tyron –

    On the way out, Julia.

    Julia let out a satisfied breath. Good. Everything’s going according to plan.

    Tyron winked at her as he shifted among the pots on the stove. Of course. You’re the greatest wedding planner I know.

    Julia felt her heart flutter at his smile.

    Julia, Melody’s asking for you..

    Coming.

    Julia pushed the doors of the kitchen open and entered to the sound of the boisterous applause of the guests celebrating the lovely couple’s nuptials. Julia grinned and clapped as she briskly walked to the top table, Pam whispering something in her ear.

    The next few minutes were a blur of errands. Different tables got their pictures with the couple and proceeded to the buffet at the back of the room. Make-up artists touched up the bride, Melody Garnet. The band played a few tunes. Julia checked her to-do list, feeling more and more satisfied with each completed task. She accompanied the couple as they personally visited each table to take another photo and exchange pleasantries. The band got into full swing, and Julia ushered the couple off to eat their dinner. Pam called the waiters to serve the food as the host returned to
