Introduction
Narcissism is a phenomenon characterized by excessive admiration of one’s own mental and physical attributes. The term was derived from the Greek mythical character Narcissus, who fell in love with his own image reflected in the pool of water.
Narcissism is a serious problem which can ruin a person’s own life and his relationships with others. The more it grows, the more it becomes intolerable and difficult to handle.
Chapter 1. How Can You Identify a Narcissist?
Several negative traits such as selfishness, egoism and vanity are associated with the concept of narcissism. That is why a person who is a narcissist never wants to be called a narcissist and will never admit it. But there are few signs which can help you indentify whether a person is a narcissist or not. If you notice all or few of the following signs in a person close to you, realize that he/she is a narcissist and needs mental help.
The signs of narcissism can be mild or severe in nature. If a person has mild narcissism traits, it is not an alarming situation, but a severe form of narcissism is considered a psychological disorder, named Narcissism Personality Disorder (NPD). The disorder causes numerous problems in social relationships. Because of the disorder, other people find it
