An odd yet intriguing book based on the premise that it is a handbook for a time travel tour company, so each of the 18 chapters is about a tour package. You will be given a summary of the historical event you are about to witness, told what clothes you will wear and why, where you will be staying, what to expect in the way of food and drink, and best vantage points to observe the proceedings. I certainly have a whole new understanding of the Women’s March on Versailles and the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand.
