About this ebook

For many people, traveling is inherently stressful. There is the worry of not packing everything you need. The physical discomfort of being on the road. The illnesses of other travelers impacting your own health. Depending on where you go, there can be strange foods that your stomach is not quite willing to digest properly.

Yoga can help with all of this.

This book is designed to help you ease the stress of being on the road. By adding gentle movements to your travel routine you ensure your body gets the best possible chance to release those tense muscles and relax. That then boosts your immune system to ward off colds and germs.

If you’re in a situations where you’re crossing time zones or dealing with other sleep issues, the meditation portion of this book can help immensely. Numerous studies show that meditation time is almost as good as sleep time for refreshing and refueling the brain.

This book is a subset of my larger books on yoga and meditation. All of the books in this series are free. This book here is specifically aimed at techniques you can use when you travel.

Namaste.

This book Yoga for Travel by Plane Train Bus Car is intended to be free on all systems, to help those who are in need of support find a step toward a more contented life. If the system you are currently on requires a charge to download, all author's proceeds will benefit battered women's shelters.

If you have never done yoga at all, I highly recommend you start with a live human being helping you in person. That person can ensure you hold the poses in a healthy, safe way. If you don't have access to a human, at least use a video of some sort to see the poses in motion. It's like learning the harp or learning to swim - you need to see how the whole body moves. My book then helps you understand my personal poses, to create an atmosphere of stress relief and forgiveness.

Feel free to contact Lisa if you have any questions about her routine - she's happy to help!

I love writing in a variety of genres. I currently have over 300 books published in all lengths from full 500+ page novels down to short stories. I love writing series. Some are with unconnected characters, like the 14 full-length medieval novels with a sword being passed from heroine to heroine. Some have connected characters, like the 31 mini-mysteries featuring a detective in Salem, Massachusetts. All of my books are written "clean" with no explicit intimacy, no harsh language, and no explicit violence. All are suitable for teens and up.For a full listing of my books please visit:http://www.lisashea.com/lisabase/writing/gettingyourbookpublished/lisalibrary.html

    Introduction

Note: I am not a doctor. Please always consult with your medical doctor before embarking on any exercise routine. Always listen to your body and stop if you feel any pain or discomfort.

Yoga should not hurt. Yoga is about gentle stretching and holding. If something hurts, you should stop. It could be you are pushing your body too hard for its current strengths. It could be something about the specific position simply does not work well given an injury or other situation with your body. There should never be pain. There should be gentle stretching.

This ebook should be free in all formats and on all systems. If you buy the paperback version, or get it from a system which is not currently free, all author’s proceeds are donated to battered women’s shelters.

    About this Book

The poses in this book are, by necessity, fairly simple. There is only so much you can do within the small space of a car seat or a plane seat. Even so, if at all possible it’s a good idea to take a yoga class or two in person. If that’s not able to be done, a YouTube video can help immensely. That can give you a sense of how these movements work in three dimensions.

I do the best I can in an ebook format, but if you have access to the full visual experience I do recommend it. It will help make some of these poses easier to understand.

    Listen To Your Body

I do my best to provide poses and information that most people are able to manage.

It could be that your flexibility or core strength happens to be less than mine. Maybe you have an injury. Maybe another type of issue causes mobility challenges. That is fine!! We all have different levels of flexibility. Modify the positions so they provide the level of challenge you need.

    You should
