      I couldn’t start a dedication off without thanking the one who gave me the vision in the first place, God.  I thank you Father for seeing about me.  I thank you Father for your rich goodness and mercy that you allow me to experience each day.  I thank you for the love of your Son, Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for each one of us.  I thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit.  I give God all the glory.

      To my Husband, Otis (my superhero).  I am forever thankful for the gift you give that money can’t buy.  The gift to be me.  I love you.

      Chapter 1

      (Ask) What Is My Calling in Life, God?

      And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.  Romans 8:30

      Calling - a strong urge toward a particular way of life or career; a vocation.

      Predestined - (of God) destine (someone) for a particular fate or purpose:

      The first step in walking in your God given purpose is identifying your calling.  Your calling is the foundation.  It will carry you when times get hard.  You will be reminded of it when you want to quit.  It may not even make sense at first.  But it won't let you go another day without its presence in your heart.  Your spirit will leap with joy at the thought of your calling.  Don't run though...because it will chase you down. 

      The reason the calling chases you because it's God given.  It's the very thing God created you to do.  Only you can answer this personal call.

      Everyone has a calling, regardless of what you've heard.  It's not a cliché, it's very real.  The problem is people run from it or don't answer the call.

      It doesn't matter how many mistakes you made, there is still a calling on your life. It you are stuck in the bondage or addiction to sin, there is still a calling on your life.  It's time to see yourself the way God sees you.
