      PREFACE

      Restoring the Image was birthed out of the dark seasons of my life that shaped and molded my identity into Kingdom purpose. For an extended period, I suffered in my emotional health with issues of poor self-image, low self-esteem, self-hatred, and extreme fear. Before encountering the healing power of Jesus, anguish and the anxiety of existing without purpose and fulfillment led me down dark and unrighteous paths of self-vindication to affirm the broken pieces of my soul. I find that many individuals in the world and in the body of Christ lead lives that are inauthentic in God because they have been given a distorted view of Christ and a distorted understanding of humanities function in Him. Lies and deception have induced a reality that hinders our ability to progress as individuals. From the pulpit to the pews and to the entire world, we wear masks to hide and block the pain which in turn keeps us living lives ashamed to be embraced and loved by people that live on the outside of our caves. Rejection and abandonment are the two major enemies of the human soul that cause arrested development in our mentalities, also hindering our ability to have healthy relationships and become productive members in church and in society. Through much transparency about my own personal struggles with self-actualized identity and self-image, my goal is to expose the internal vices of man that manifests self-destruction and self-sabotage, preventing them from finding their true-selves in God. My intent is to also reveal God’s heart about how He truly feels about us and His original blueprint for the entire composition of man. Do you have an issue with how you see yourself, body image, identity, or other people? As you are led to the cross at Calvary, my prayer is that every vice and false image of your soul will be shattered at the name of Jesus. Here you will receive a supernatural exchange of His DNA, healing the areas of deep woundedness, death, and decay that have left you hopeless over the years and without sight. TODAY

      First, I would like to thank God for His love, His unending mercies, and the grace He has bestowed upon my life to restore others through wisdom and counsel. I would like to thank my husband who was with me through every change and transition: being the good, the bad, and the controversial! You never stopped loving me, and despite the odds, you still saw me and wanted God for my being more than you wanted me for yourself. For that I say thank you for that gift of true love. You are my ride or die all the way until the end, my prayer partner for life, and I love you with all my heart. I would like to thank my baby boy Judah A. Tapley. You are full of strength and wisdom. Mommy thank you for the courage you imparted into me to push forward in times of adversity. Thank you for your strength, the prayers that carried my destiny, and the real-life lessons you taught me in our very short time together. I would like to thank my Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Gayle D. Tapley and Fred Tapley Sr. for your love and support as well as creating such an awesome gift to God.
