About this ebook

The events around the globe are becoming increasingly brutal and deadly.  Terrorist attacks, outbreaks of fatal diseases, and outright genocide have become almost mundane, boring. The response for much of the general public has been to load up on medication to numb the senses, to just not feel anything.  But at the end of the day, that's not true survival, that's putting a bandage on an amputation.

Life is getting increasingly difficult and the probably of some cataclysmic disaster is increasing and men and women are preparing.  They are stockpiling supplies, materials, and medical gear in the event of a global emergency and when the smoke clears, they will be the ones left alive.  The SHTF Stockpile is book of 23 items that are fundamental to longterm survival.  The book provides the reader with a survival list, and does so by providing the occasional laugh - when dealing with the issue of survival, a laugh is often necessary to maintain sanity.

The Shtf Stockpile - Ruth Campbell

    Introduction

For well over a year, Bill had collected rainwater in sterile containers and stored them in his basement.  The small community in which he lived was close, everyone knew everyone, and everyone thought Bill had kissed a final farewell to his mind.  But he knew something, he felt something and he was convinced that the water would come in handy at some point.  He had hundreds of gallons collected when it happened.

    And the laughter stopped.

The small sewage treatment plant just on the outskirts of the town failed.  Something went terribly wrong and the wastewater was released into the same reservoir as the water used for showering, cleaning, and yes, for drinking.  No one was sure when the crisis would be resolved, but the stores in the little community sold out of drinking water within a few short hours and a large part of the population of the community was left without clean drinking
