About this ebook
Meet Man: He’s witty, carefree, and probably not sober. He's Dean Martin meets Jack Benny, Don Draper, and Jack Donaghy. He imparts upon readers his clever, unabashed musings of romance, party culture, and bachelorhood. The life of the party, the collected contemplations in Man v. Liver will amuse and inform aspiring connoisseurs of class.
In Man v. Liver, Man expels his alcohol-fueled wisdom to all who yearn to encapsulate themselves in a life of forgotten nights and fine tailored suits––which, as he will tell you, are handy to sleep in if you wish to be the best dressed at breakfast.
Man v. Liver is a collection of witty musings accompanied by their creator: a roughly sketched, style-conscious bachelor who’s never short on quips aimed at fellow party guests, dates, and, of course, his beloved liver.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Man v Liver cracked me up. I could hear actual drunk people saying these lines. I want to give copies to all my problem drinking friends, so we can laugh at Man's drunk wisdom and wry observations together. An incredibly quick read, each page a drawing of Man and a sentence or two, I only wish there were more.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The wisdom of alcoholNeil Hinson and Paul Friedrich see themselves as the guy who gets you to hang longer than you wanted, who always comes back for more, and for whom hangovers might be punishment, but sobriety is a life sentence. Some of their classic lines that only a drunk gets away with:Don’t say goodbye without leaving.I charted the waters you are drowning in.Twitter. Texting. Posting. Is anyone here actually here?Man V. Liver is a quick collection of witticisms, slurs, slanders and wrong words that still work in their sentences. The drunkard’s small talk. For those into the after work bar scene, it will be very familiar. maybe even a riot. For those who have grown out of it, it will be a white knuckle reminder. For those who never got into it, it will be relief they did the right thing. It’s actually a little strange reading about the glories of alcohol.
