A singer's anthology of classic scat solos is long overdue. The transcriptions are clean and accurate, a good variety of songs, and best of all: several versions of some songs, by more than one singer - comparative listening is so crucial, to avoid copying any singer too closely.

    Anxiously awaiting volumes 2-10!
