Jamarious Nickerson JeanRenoit

Mr. Jamarious JeanRenoit is currently a Nation Builder (an Educator) in the Newark Public Schools district, who holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and almost two decades of "Nationbuilding" experience. Raised by a working class family in Newark, New Jersey, there were many socio-economic challenges that he had to encounter yet never wavered in overcoming. Even as a young boy, Mr. JeanRenoit preferred to resist the plans others drew out for his life. Doing so was not easy; thus, he was labeled like a meat package with all types of humiliating names. Ultimately, Jamarious maintained great faith in ensuring that he would always be the denominator, and his circumstances only a vulnerable numerator, in the fraction of life. . In this literary work, there is a poignant, straightforward account of the ways in which we need more males as educators in every capacity throughout the school environment and/or community. The resounding message of the work is clear: in the 21st century males are no longer content being limited to setting the big paycheck on the table to meet the family's needs. NO! Heterosexual males are now embracing multidimensional, multilateral roles, even in the realm of domesticity. In the age of Obama, there is a new Male around to be better husbands and fathers than ever before. Simply call them "breadmakers." Mr. JeanRenoit lives in Bethlehem,PA, is currently pursuing his Master's degree, and overseeing a small tutoring venture. In his leisure, he loves to spend time with family and friends singing, dancing, and traveling!

    Within These Eyes I SEE

Dedicated to my grandson: Mr. Jamarious Terrell Nickerson JeanRenoit

    Within these eyes I SEE,

What GOD has done for me,

He TAUGHT me how to LOVE,

    With HIS STRENGTH from Above.

Keep the FAITH and HOPE ALIVE,

HE knows we’re here to SURVIVE.

    Within these eyes I SEE,

    ALL blessings will be FREE.

THANK YOU, Grandson, for being one of my best students, who lived, learned, and listened.

You are my pride and joy, and I am very proud of you for all of your accomplishments in LIFE.

    Acknowledgments

First and foremost, thanks and praise is given to the Almighty (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) for this literary work that would never be fit for print or review of any publisher, or capable of accomplishing what it was composed to set forth, without such divine stewardship greater than that of mankind’s guidance. With the Almighty at the helm of this journey, victory and more success is ahead.

Thanks and honorable gratitude is extended to my inspirational, sapient mother, Ms. Takesshan Nickerson, who has always reminded me through example that, in the midst of everything that society holds against a male individual of African descent, all is achievable. All is possible. I love you, Mom.

Honorable gratitude and thanks is also due to my maternal grandmother, Mrs. Barbara D. Nickerson, who has fought for me when I could not fight for myself. When she learned of this journey I have completed, she simply smiled as she cheered, Go on grandson…GOD is on your side. I love you, Baa.

To my aunt, Mrs. Lashone Berrian, I thank you too for encouraging me not to settle at accomplishing what is expected of me; instead, with your words of correction and through the hardwork ethic you have lived up to, I now know what it means to exceed expectations. I love you, Auntie Shone.

To my father, who has not been the best example of what it means to be a man of African descent, you are worthy of honorable mention because your mistakes were allowed by GOD to bring myself to a life’s service where I can more strongly advocate for the social advancement and moral
