About this ebook

A new spin on the classic smart-girl-and-bad-boy setup, this witty contemporary romance shows how easily a friendship – even one built on an elaborate lie – can become so much more.

Jenny meets Chance for the very first time when she is assigned as his partner in their Junior Oral Communications class. But after they rescue a doomed assignment with one clever lie, the whole school is suddenly convinced that Little-Miss-Really-Likes-Having-A’s and the most scandalous heartbreaker in school have been best friends forever. It’s amazing how quickly a lie can grow—especially when you really, really want it to be the truth.

With Jenny, Chance can live the normal life he’s always kind of wanted. And with Chance, Jenny can have the exciting teen experiences that TV shows and movies have always promised. Through it all, they hold on to the fact that they are “just friends.” But that might be the biggest lie of all.

Debut author Tiffany Pitcock delivers a spot-on depiction of first love and the high school rumor mill in Just Friends, chosen by readers like you for Macmillan's young adult imprint Swoon Reads.

Good and fast read, the only part that was hard to imagine is that Jenny’s mom was fine with her spending the night away from home so frequently and never had to make a excuse for where she was and why.. I will be looking to read more from this author because over all it was a enjoyable story.

Okay. This book wasnt bad but it's not the best either. Jennifer is kinda dumb for a smart girl. Chance is kinda dumb too. It's like two dumb characters thrown into a relationship that they want but to afraid to say anything and then shes just gonna start dating a guy she dont even really like and not even talk to Chance just because he told some random girl he doesnt do relationships no cause he kinda was already busy spending his time and effort into one with jennifer. I mean it's worth a read I guess but the story line could have been a but better
.and like what happens? Does he stay with his brother? Live alone in the trailer? Does his mom come back? Move in with Jennifer and her family? That's too big a part of the story to be left hanging without a sequel.

I loved their relationship, but I really wanted them to get together sooner. I hated that she got together with drake, but the ending made up for it.

clichê, but the kind of cliche that even when you already know what is going to happen you continues to read it. if you don’t want to thing too hard about meanings or vocabulary, the book is really easy to read.
