Community Input is Essential

The Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan is an important part of helping to make Harford County a truly multimodal community; one that promotes and supports increased bicycle and pedestrian activity. It is also an important step in helping Harford County become a healthier community. Development of the Plan is anticipated to take about a year. To help with this effort you are invited to an informal walk in session at the Abingdon Public Library Monday, July 9, 2012 between 6:30pm and 7:30pm to share your ideas and suggestions. You will have an opportunity to review the County's Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan for the Abingdon area. A large map, provided by planning and zoning, will be used to assist with developing ideas, suggestions, and identifying needed infra structures, such as crosswalks, paths, sidewalks, etc. Come any time before 7:30pm. Harford County Planning and Zoning has asked for results of this meeting to be sent directly to them. We need your ideas for our neighborhood to be represented in the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. Harford County
