Cambridge International Examinations is the worlds largest provider of international education programmes and qualifications for 5 to 19 year olds. Over 9000 schools in over 160 countries around the world offer Cambridge qualifications. We are part of Cambridge Assessment, a not-forprofit organisation and part of the world renowned University of Cambridge. Our candidate ages range from 5 to over 70. Cambridge IGCSE had its 25th birthday in September 2010. Cambridge IGCSE is the worlds most popular international qualification for 14 to 16 year olds. It is taken in 144 countries and in more than 2,900 schools around the world. The top ten Cambridge IGCSE subjects worldwide are: Mathematics English as a First Language English as a Second Language Biology Physics Chemistry Literature (English) Information and Communication Technology Business Studies Geography Cambridge examinations are marked by around 9000 highly skilled examiners Annual subject entries for Cambridge exams have now grown to 1.9 million. There are more than 450,000 entries for Cambridge IGCSE each year. We produce around 5.7 million question papers each year. Every year we have more than 680,000 subject entries for Cambridge O Level from 80 countries We hold more than 16,000 training days a year providing 6,500 teachers from across the globe with the skills and knowledge they need to help their students succeed. In 2008, we celebrated the 150th anniversary of the formation of our parent organisation Cambridge Assessment, and in 2009 we celebrated the 800th anniversary of the University of Cambridge. Cambridge International AS and A Levels are taken in 120 countries with more than 340,000 subject entries each year.
