MEDICALCARE: Duringfieldtrainingandresistancetraining,medicalcareis providedbyIndependentDutyMedicalTechnicians(IDMTs)ona24hourbasis. Callyourinstructortorequestmedicaltreatment. MEDICATION: TheSurvivalSchoolFlightSurgeonmustprescribeorapproveall prescriptionmedicationtakentothefield,exceptbirthcontrolpills.Thisincludes medicationsprescribedbyanotherphysician.Youmaynottakenonprescription drugs,evenaspirinorMotrin,tothefield. Youarenotauthorizedtotakeany medicationintotheresistancetraininglab. INJURIES: Ifyoususpect,foranyreason,youarepronetoinjury,youare responsiblefortakingpreventiveactionbaseduponyourpersonalknowledgeof yourphysicalconditionandyourpastexperience. Forexample,ifyouhaveahistory ofapreviousinjury,suchassprainedankleordislocatedshoulder,youare responsibleforbringingthistotheattentionoftheFlightSurgeon.
