SAHYADRI STARCH & INDUSTRIES PVT LTD, MIRAJ Since May 2011 HR Co-ordinator The company manufactures Starch, Liquid Glucose, Maltodextrine and other derivatives, with the employee strength of around 650. It has also won awards from CII, MEDA etc. Handling the entire gamut of functions related to Human Resource Management right from the stage of short-listing the resumes from the job portals, recruitment division for screening/ hiring/ orientation/ staff training/ development programs. Managing the complete recruitment life-cycle right for sourcing the best talent from diverse sources, collaborating human resource requirements in consultation with heads of different functional and operational departments, facilitating smooth joining formalities and finally having the candidates on board Understanding & maintaining job descriptions as per hiring criteria. Screening resumes as per hiring criteria, Background vetting and reference check. Leading initiatives across handling candidate resume sourcing based on job descriptions through posting positions on job sites, internet searches, referrals and data base. Completing the exit formalities for employees who are resigning the organization by issuing them their reliving letter and service certificates. Updating the information in the exit employees data bank & sending legal letters, F&F statements. Maintaining flawless communication with the employees; ensure timely resolution of employee grievances and harmonious working environment at all levels, thus contributing towards low attrition rate & attaining employee loyalty. Independently handling invoices sent by Vendors & responsible for the Vendor payments and their bills. Responsible for handling various Reward Programs and initiated a whole new process of monthly Employee Recognition program (Well done Awards) for the whole organization. Organizing employee engagement activities by maintaining a properly charted out calendar with Tournaments, Health, Safety & welfare, Annual Day, CSR activities.
