Validity

Selecting and using an appropriate method of assessment in relation to the skills or knowledge being assessed.
Do the assessments measure what they claim to do?

Authenticity

Does it represent the real world of the topic? Does it capture deep learning?

Reliability

Is the assessment consistent? Could you expect the same range of results in each group? If I do the test today and tomorrow will I get the same results?

Currency

Does it provide evidence that the learner possess the skills and knowledge being claimed? Is the evidence related to the learners current competence?

Sufficiency of Assessment

Is there enough evidence to support the judgement being made?
