Unit 3. Project Clock Face Design

My Design Specification 1. Mozambican-inspired theme or design 2. Recycled materials will be used 3. Risk-Takers 4. To tell the time and show what Mozambique is famous for. 5. Metal will be the main material 6. circle, average size wall clock 7. Black 8. It will be a metal clock which makes it rather sturdy and strong already. 9. I will put soft material like a cloth oround the edges of the clock so that the metal wont cut anyone. 10. It will look like an LP but have a famous mozambiquan artist cover on it and/or the beaches of Mozambique. 11. this will be for anyone, anyone will enjoy this clock 12. I will need to know how to cut the materials into the shapes that I need. 13. Im not sure how many days I will need because I have never done anything similar 14. Click here to enter text.

II. Product Testing A. Using Google Forms, construct a survey form that you and your intended users will use to test if the product satisfies the Design Specification. (You will only use this survey during the Evaluate stage) 1. Provide the link to the survey form you created: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1S8tCwUMj-CSL5oBiLFBM4tFoa9A2Q0P8IAkUGsVBik/viewform 2. Provide the link to the Summary of Responses of your survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1S8tCwUMjCSL5oBiL-FBM4tFoa9A2Q0P8IAkUGsVBik/viewanalytics B. Discuss your answers to the following questions in 1 paragraph: 1. How did you use the Design Specification in your survey questions? 2. How will you distribute the survey? Who will answer your survey? How many people do you need to answer? your survey? 3. How will you and your intended users test the product? How will you and your intended users check for technical errors in the design of the product? 4. How will you determine if your product successfully solved or addressed the problem/situation it was intended for? My survey was very simple, I just put it there and made it so that the people would rate it from 0-5, 5 being best 0 worst. I will put the survey onto edmodo and Facebook and let people vote after they have seen my clock. I will bring it to school and let people use it and see how it works etc. I will go over my design specifications and see if my clock matches it.
