Chuck McLean for representing CMS at the BCPS Town Hall Safety Meeting on April 10, 2013. Thank you to Ms. Kathleen Hambrick for helping us with the planning of the Elite Authors presentations for Good News Night. At our final full meeting of the 2012-13 school year, I wanted to be sure to thank our executive board for being so enthusiastic and supportive. This year has flown by! I am amazed at how this particular board has put its own brand on the CMS PTSA by creating new fundraisers, partnering with the English department, and revamping traditions that were no longer working for us. It has been a pleasure and an honor to serve with you this year. Thank you for being such an integral part of the educational program and the culture of Catonsville Middle School! Faculty News: Congratulations to Mr. Steve Ambrose who is getting married on June 22, 2013. Student Success! The Carver Center for Arts and Technology Fiction Contest was swept by CMS seventh graders! Three of Mr. Krauss students took the top three awards in the competition. Mr. Nolls Quiz Bowl Team earned a place in the count championship round! Way to go! Our festival band and festival orchestra earned Superior ratings at the county festival and will travel to Anne Arundel County to perform at the state festival adjudication! Congratulations to Mrs. Stevenson, Mrs. McFadden, and their talented students!
