Objective
To implement effective method of Helmet Based Security System for

Motor-Cycle riding

Existing system
Chances of driving vehicle without helmet is possible Occurrence of more accidents No proper check for alcohol consumed riders

Proposed system
Wireless technologies used for information transfer Helmet is made compulsory Occurrence of accidents is greatly reduced Alcohol consumed person can never ride his vehicle

Block diagram
This project consists of two sections, one is helmet section and other

is vehicle section
In helmet section each helmet has a RF tag which transmits a unique

ID
Vehicle section has one receiver unit, it receives the helmet ID,

decodes it and feeds it to the microcontroller

Eye-blink sensor senses the eye movement and transmits an ID if

the person is not wearing the helmet.

The vehicle stops if the corresponding ID is received from the

helmet.

Block diagram
If the person has consumed alcohol, the alcohol sensor in the

helmet sends an ID to the receiver

On receiving this ID the vehicle is stopped immediately and SMS is

sent to the respective mobile number via GSM Modem

In the absence of Helmet, the vehicle can never be started

Power supply

Power Supply Circuit

Hardware Tools
Microcontroller Sensor unit RF module GSM modem

Software tools
Keil C Compiler Flash Programmer. Languages Used: Embedded C.

Advantages
Gathering information through wireless technologies Easiest way of monitoring a motorist
