To whom it may concern, I am the curator of the Darby Museum at Davis and Elkins College. This is a collection of approximately 10,000 items of early American settler and pre-historic American Indian artifacts. Over the past year the college has been in the process of moving, reorganizing, and enlarging the space for the museum. Andrew Carroll is one of the students paid by the college to help me to accomplish this enormous project. Andrew has been enthusiastic in helping with this project. He has been very active in the packing,

moving, and unpacking of these historic objects. He has also been pro-active in the setting up of the display cases and the technical aspects of properly displaying and labeling of the museum to its new location. He has always been on time when scheduled and very willing to handle any project assigned to him. He also is intelligent in his approach to the value and importance of these pieces of history. He has

made many suggestions on the display of these items, several of which have been adopted. He is very easy to work with and works well with the other staff members. Andrew is intelligent, inquisitive and willing to work and learn. I would highly recommend him to be a

part of any project of which he would desire to be a part. Sincerely,

Gilbert F. Rexrode Curator, Darby Collection
