You work for a management consultancy and have been asked to develop learning material on the processes of project development and implementation for the training programme this year. In order to do this effectively and show how the development and implementation systems must be integrated to provide success, you should select a real organisation you know or are familiar with as your case study to investigate.

Firstly, you need to be able to prepare an initial presentation and briefing paper which provides an overview of the process for developing a project strategy. Task 1 Prepare a fifteen minute presentation on the approach your selected organisation could take to: a) analyse the factors that contribute to the process of project selection b) develop outline project specifications for the implementation of a new product, service or process c) produce a specification for an agreed project to implement a new product, service or process The presentation should be created and presented using PowerPoint or other appropriate format, and evidence provided must include copies of slides, handouts and presenter notes.
