Experience
- Crumpton Elementary School: Service Learning October 2012 December 2012: Volunteer at the local Elementary school to teach students about Japanese culture. - Itabashi English Speaking Society May 2012 August 2012: Assisted teaching an Upper-Intermediate/Advanced English class for the Itabashi English Speaking Society, two Sundays a month. Material covered included English conversation, grammar and critical reading in English. Student ages ranged from young adult to seniors. - Dentsu/Waseda May 2012 July 2012: Internship/Competition; developed a new form of Japan Tourism in a group setting. Groups were judged by participation Dentsu Tokyo employees. - Dentsu America June 2011 - August 2011; Internship; worked in the Strategy, Accounts and Media departments as well as filling in for receptionist duties. My work included drafting transcriptions, compiling competitives, client and competitor research and presentation of information. - Law Offices of Carl Buchberg 2007 2008 (grades 11-12) clerical; 25 hours a weeks, 12 weeks a year; during the summer, I handled receptionist and clerical duties including but not limited to handling phone lines, making copies and filing. - Student Ambassador 2006-2008 (grades 10 -11); 1 hour a week, 36 weeks a year; represented my high school in conferences and events related to education and fundraising. - High School Newspaper 2005-2008 (grades 9-11); 6 hours a weeks, 36 weeks a year; reporting events around school and the community; served as assistant editor in grade 10, duties included writing articles as well as editing other students articles, responsible for the paper layout.
